    Abstract: The present invention relates to novel compounds, viz. poly(arylate-sulphones) and to a method of preparing same. The compounds according to the present invention have the following formula: ##STR1## WHEREIN R is a carbon-to-carbon bond in para- or meta-position; ##STR2## n, m are indices denoting statistical distribution of structures over the macrochain; n and m are statistical values ranging from 1 to 10; x is a statistical value ranging from 1 to 100; y = 3 to 20; z = 5 to 20.The method of preparing said poly-(arylate-sulphones) comprises polycondensation of dichloroanhydrides of dicarboxylic acids with a mixture of bisphenol of the formula: ##STR3## and an oligosulphone of the formula: ##STR4## wherein y = 3 to 20; ##STR5## said oligosulphone being contained in the mixture in an amount ranging from 3 to 97% by weight as calculated for the desired poly(arylate-sulphone). The reaction is conducted in a medium of chlorinated hydrocarbons, followed by isolation of the desired product.

    Abstract: The proposed composition contains from 5 to 98 parts by weight of polyphenylquinoxaline, from 1 to 94 parts by weight of an antifriction filler, from 0 to 40 parts by weight of a reinforcing filler, and from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of a modifying dopant such as terephthalaldehyde, tetranitrile of pyromellitic acid, metal polyphosphinates or carborane-containing compounds.The antifriction material on the basis of said composition features a low and stable coefficient of friction and provides for the operation of dry-friction assemblies constructed therefrom at temperatures of up to 350.degree. C.

    Abstract: An antifriction polymer material which is a product of hardening of a composition consisting of a filler in amounts of 10-95 wt.% and a binder in amounts of 5-90 wt.%, a mixture of polyphenylenes being used as a binder containing ketal and/or acetyl groups of the general formula ##STR1## R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 being identical or different, the fraction with n =2-15 amounting to 4-20% of the binder weight.The proposed antifriction polymer material possesses high heat and thermal resistance of about 350.degree.C and 450.degree.C, respectively, which ensures a stable friction coefficient and a high wear resistance of the material at temperatures of up to 320.degree. C.

    Abstract: An antifriction self-lubricating material comprising fusible polyimides or polyphenylquinoxalines taken in a quantity of from 5 to 95 percent by weight of the antifriction material, and a filler of molybdenum disulphide modified with phosphorus-containing acids or phosphorus-containing esters, the phosphorus content in the modified molybdenum disulphide being within the range from 0.01 to 2 percent by weight, and the modified molybdenum disulphide being taken in a quantity of from 5 to 95 percent by weight of the antifriction material.The modified molybdenum disulphide employed as the filler imparts improved antifriction properties to the material.

    Abstract: An adhesive composition containing monomeric .alpha.-cyan acrylates - alkyl -.alpha.-cyan acrylates having from 1 to 7 carbon atoms, and/or allyl-.alpha.-cyan acrylate, as well as a modifying additive comprising fluorinated methacrylate or fluorinated acrylate of the general formula ##STR1## wherein n=1-3, R is H, CH.sub.3, or CH.sub.2 --C-- COOH.sub.2 (CF.sub.2)n.sub.1 CF.sub.3, wherein n.sub.1 =1-2 and R has the abovementioned significances. Monomeric .alpha.-cyan acrylates are used in an amount of 70-90 w.% and the modifying additive in an amount of 10-30 w.%.A strength of adhesive bond obtained using the adhesive compositions according to the invention attains 180-190 kp/cm.sup.2. The adhesive bond exhibits a considerable flexibility and hydrolytic stability.
