  • Publication number: 20150204885
Abstract: A method and kit for providing high accuracy intracellular detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, an infection causing either active or latent disease. The technique involves immunofluoresence in combination with flow cytometry on samples from all biological fluids and cell suspensions.

  • Publication number: 20150064691
Abstract: The present invention describes a method for investigating the presence of chlamydia, viruses and other infectious agents in spermatozoa, with the use of immunofluorescence in combination with flow cytometry. This method is used for the intracellular detection of microorganisms within sperm cells through the use of a DNA easing procedure, as well as for the detection of microorganisms adherent to the surface of spermatozoa.

  • Publication number: 20040241680
Abstract: The present invention refers to the examination of the endometrium. Analysis is performed through tests that utilize endometrial menstruation tissue (period tissue) which is collected to this purpose. The tests are carried out for the study of the composition of the sub-populations of lymphocytes in order to assess whether the endometrium is appropriate for the implantation and the preservation of the fetus. These tests are also carried out for the study of the presence of microorganisms on the endometrium and also for the study of the cellular composition of the period tissue. A tube is also described for use for the collection of menstruation tissue, which tube has certain special characteristics which facilitate the tests of the period tissue.
