  • Publication number: 20260189895
Abstract: A wireless communication network transfers a data message to a User Equipment (UE). A wireless network control system registers the UE, and in response, transfers a UE registration notice for the UE and the wireless network control system to a wireless network database system. The wireless network database system receives the UE registration notice, and in response, transfers the UE registration notice to a message center. The message center receives the UE registration notice. The message center receives the data message for the UE, and in response, transfers the data message to the wireless network control system based on the UE registration notice. The wireless network control system receives the data message, and in response, transfers the data message to the UE.

  • Publication number: 20260164306
Abstract: A network function in a core network receives information about the capacity of the Unified Data Repository (UDR), which is associated with two core network applications. The network function obtains traffic data for both the first and second core network applications. The network function determines the traffic volumes for each application, ensuring the total does not exceed the UDR’s capacity. The network function transmits the calculated traffic volumes to the respective core network applications. Each application throttles traffic that exceeds its allocated volume to prevent overloading the UDR.

  • Publication number: 20260032570
Abstract: The technology relates to a network management system that facilitates efficient operation of user devices on telecommunications networks. The network management system receives a network registration request from a wireless device to register the wireless device to a telecommunications network, where the wireless device is uniquely identified to differentiate between multiple devices. The system then extracts the identifier from the device and determines the device's compatibility with the network using this identifier. Based on this compatibility assessment, the network management system generates network preferences for the device. The preferences involve detecting available networks and prioritizing connections within this set based on device compatibility and predefined rules. Subsequently, the system automatically selects the most suitable network for the device and initiates the connection.

  • Patent number: 12430209
Abstract: Described herein is a node of a telecommunications network configured to determine that a primary index for data repositories of the telecommunications network is operating in a fail-open mode and, in response, provide a request received by the node to substantially all data repositories referred to by the primary index. The node is further configured to receive a response from one of the data repositories and, based at least in part on the response, build a secondary index mapping data repositories to subscriber identifiers. When a further request is received by the node in fail-open mode, the node may refer to the secondary index first and, if the subscriber identifier from the further request is not present in the secondary index, provide the further request to substantially all data repositories referred to by the primary index.

  • Publication number: 20250227454
Abstract: A mobility management node and a subscription database of a telecommunications network are described herein. The mobility management node and subscription database receive a master subscription profile from a central repository. The master subscription profile includes data that is shared across subscribers. When registering a user equipment (UE) with the telecommunications network, the mobility management node can signal support for an alias for the master subscription profile to the subscription database. The alias is a representation of the master subscription profile that is smaller than the master subscription profile. The subscription database receives the signal of support for the alias and provides it to the mobility management node in place of the master subscription profile. In response to another message from a mobility management node that does not indicate support for an alias, the subscription database provides the master subscription profile.

  • Patent number: 11792633
Abstract: A subscriber information entity of a home wireless carrier network may receive an authentication request for a user device from a network element of a partner wireless carrier network. The authentication request may include a network element identifier of the network element. An authentication response for the authentication request is then sent to the network element of the partner wireless carrier network. Further, the network element identifier of the network element is stored in a subscriber profile for the user device. A registration request for the user device is then received from a particular network element of a wireless carrier network, in which the registration request includes a corresponding network element identifier of the particular network element. A registration response to the particular network element of the wireless carrier network may be sent when the corresponding network element identifier matches the network element identifier.
