  • Publication number: 20230243515
Abstract: An oven rack assembly and method of use includes an oven rack configured to support items to be cooked or otherwise heated within an oven cavity, a slide system coupled to the oven rack, and a subframe coupled to the slide system. The slide system is configured to move the oven rack between a retracted position and an extended position where the oven rack has moved forwardly relative to the retracted position. The subframe includes lateral support portions, where each of the support portions include an integral, downwardly depending movement restrictor for retaining the subframe in a stowed position within an oven cavity.

  • Publication number: 20190285281
Abstract: An ignition switch assembly includes an electronics compartment defined by a lower housing and an upper housing for receiving an ignition switch. A cam actuator is coupled to a gas control shaft and is positioned at least partially within the electronics compartment for selectively engaging the ignition switch. The cam actuator includes a center hub that extends through a top aperture defined in the upper housing and an outer hub positioned around the center hub and having an outer hub diameter that is larger than the top aperture. A connecting wall extends between the center hub and the outer hub to define a circumferential groove for collecting spilled fluid and directing it toward a drain port defined in the lower housing.

  • Patent number: 10276316
Abstract: A control knob assembly for a cooktop appliance provides a readily visible indicator of the power level of a heating element. The control knob assembly includes a control knob that is rotatably mounted to a center housing and defines an arcuate light display and contact features that extend toward the center housing. A stationary shutter that defines an arcuate aperture is fixedly positioned between a light source and the control knob for at least partially allowing light from the light source. A mobile shutter is positioned between the stationary shutter and the control knob and includes an axial paddle extending along the axial direction for engaging the contact features as the control knob is rotated, thereby rotating a radial shutter for blocking a portion of the arcuate aperture.
