Publication number: 20240381055Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a radio resource control (RRC) release message that indicates a first point-to-multipoint (PTM) configuration for a multicast service provided by a serving cell of the UE. The first PTM configuration may identify a first set of resources to monitor for the multicast service while the UE is in an RRC inactive state. The RRC release message may further indicate whether a second PTM configuration is present for the serving cell of the UE, whether the second PTM configuration is different from the first PTM configuration, or both. The UE may monitor the serving cell for the multicast service in accordance with the first PTM configuration or the second PTM configuration based on transitioning from an RRC connected state to the RRC inactive state in accordance with the RRC release message.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 7, 2024Publication date: November 14, 2024Inventors: Umesh PHUYAL, Le LIU, Prasada Veera Reddy KADIRI

Publication number: 20240373452Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently performing measurements and other functions in preparation for communicating with a base station on a secondary cell (SCell). In particular, a user equipment (UE) may switch to a certain bandwidth part (BWP) (e.g., a dormant BWP) on an SCell when the SCell is deactivated, and the UE may perform the appropriate measurements and functions on this BWP (e.g., based on reference signals received on this BWP). In some cases, the UE may determine to switch to the BWP for performing the appropriate measurements and functions based on an inactivity timer expiring or based on an indication from a base station (e.g., on a primary cell (PCell)). Accordingly, once the UE activates the SCell for communications with a base station, the latency associated with preparing for communicating on the SCell may be reduced.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2024Publication date: November 7, 2024Inventors: Peng CHENG, Prashanth Haridas HANDE, Prasada Veera Reddy KADIRI, Arvind Vardarajan SANTHANAM, Huichun LIU

Patent number: 10771285Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes processing network data models at a network device operating in a network comprising a plurality of network components, each of the network components associated with one of the network data models, performing semantic matching at the network device for at least two of the network data models, the semantic matching comprising computing labels for elements of the network data models utilizing label computation algorithms configured for notational conventions used in the network data models, computing contexts for the elements based on a hierarchy of each of the network data models, removing one or more of the labels used to form the contexts to create reduced contexts, and computing a semantic relationship for the reduced contexts of the network data models. The network data models are mapped at the network device based on the semantic matching for use in a network application. An apparatus and logic are also disclosed herein.Type: GrantFiled: July 5, 2016Date of Patent: September 8, 2020Assignee: CISCO TECHNOLOGY, INC.Inventors: Samer Salam, Srivathsan Aravamudan, Srikanth Mangala Krishnamurhty, Veera Reddy Evuri, Vinaya Shenoy, Ashwin Talanki Narasimha Murthy

Patent number: 10612806Abstract: A controller configured to communicatively couple to at least two sets of equipment. At least one set of equipment includes heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, refrigeration equipment, or building automation equipment. For each set of equipment, the controller determines an operation schedule for the respective set of equipment. The controller also communicates the operation schedule to the respective set of equipment, for each set of equipment. The controller may receive a request to perform mass scheduling. The request indicates which sets of equipment and which settings of the operation schedule are to be configured using the mass scheduling. The controller may also communicate the same values for the settings that the request indicates to configure using the mass scheduling to each set of equipment that the request indicates to configure using the mass scheduling.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2018Date of Patent: April 7, 2020Assignee: Lennox Industries Inc.Inventors: Harold Ferrari, Veera Reddy Vemula, Farhad Abrishamkar
