    Abstract: The present invention relates to a fastening device (10) used in various shelves. The fastening device comprises a bracket extending through an opening (15) provided in the wall of the shelf frame (11). One surface of the bracket is placed against the inner surface (9) of the frame. The fastening device is provided with control means (18) which are arranged to draw the bracket towards the surface (9) of the frame and/or to adjust the position of a beam connected to the fastening device.
