    Abstract: A transport system of highway vehicles comprises a highway tractor which is connected to a highway trailer vehicle by means of an intermediate dolly. The dolly includes an inclined frame supported at its lower rear end on a running gear and its forward end includes a king pin connected to the tractor fifth wheel. A fifth wheel for connection to the highway trailer is movably mounted on the inclined frame.
