Abstract: In accordance with exemplary embodiments, at least apparatus, methods, and computer program products perform selection of a reduced set of overlaying cells to provide access to a UE from a set of overlaying cells in a network using one or more RATs and multiple different frequencies and whose coverage areas for the cells in the set partially or completely overlay each other. The selection is based on location of the UE within the overlaying cells and estimates of coverage areas of the overlaying cells derived based on information including at least one of angles of arrival and reception-transmission difference information for UEs in the network. Distribution is performed of UEs across the selected overlaying cells based on a desired statistical distribution for the UEs across the cells in the reduced set of cells. The desired statistical distribution takes into account the one or more RATs and the multiple different frequencies.

Abstract: The overall health of an online service is determined using health information that is obtained from the individual components of the online service. For example, an overall health score for the online service may be determined by computing an average score using health scores that are received from the different components. The amount an individual component's health score affects the overall health score of the online service is configurable. In some cases, a health alert may be sent to the component(s) experiencing the problem as well as sending the health alert to the system level. In other cases, the alerts to the component level may be suppressed and the system level administrator receives the alert. A health alert may show information such as the overall health score, the health score for each individual component, a description of any detected problems, a graphical health map of the system, and the like.

Abstract: A method to perform successful RRC reestablishment across eNB seams in ping pong scenarios without data loss is described. The method includes, during a handover procedure of a UE from a source AP to a target AP, receiving, at the source AP, a reestablishment request from the UE. The reestablishment request includes a temporary identity assigned by the target AP for the UE. The method also includes determining a UE context based on the temporary identity assigned by the target AP and performing a reestablishment procedure between the source AP and the UE.
