The system includes: a shopping module executable by a processing unit to accumulate data corresponding to a shopping event of a consumer; and a discount module executable by a processing unit to evaluate data corresponding to the shopping event and dynamically determine a discount to be applied to at least one item selected by the consumer during the shopping event.

Abstract: According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a system, method and technique for an interactive multimedia products platform is disclosed. The system includes: a first unit attachable to an appliance and configured to detect a change in at least one parameter associated with the appliance; and a second unit configured to receive in real time sensor data from the first unit corresponding to the detected parameter and transmit the sensor data in real time over a network to a content provider, the second unit configured to receive multimedia content from the content provider in real time and display the multimedia content in real time on a display device, the multimedia content received from the content provider responsive to the transmitted sensor data.
