Publication number: 20150379895Abstract: A tactile graphic display for providing a display representation of a graph or image generated by a graphic device for visually impaired users or other users who wish to access tactile information. The display includes one or more frame assemblies including hollow actuator chambers and hollow shaft chambers, the hollow shaft chambers extending perpendicular to the hollow actuator members. Actuators are received within the plurality of hollow actuator chambers and drive shafts are received with the hollow shaft members. Cams operably connect the actuators to the drive shafts. Each actuator rotates each cam about an axis of the actuator in a first direction from a down position to an up position thereby extending each drive shaft upwardly, and each actuator operably rotates each cam about the axis of the actuator in a second direction opposite to the first direction to the down position thereby retracting each drive shaft downwardly.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 10, 2015Publication date: December 31, 2015Inventor: Venkatesh R. Patent number: 9223685Abstract: System and method for validating a specification associated with a software application and/or a hardware is disclosed. The specification comprising expected behavior requirements specified in a specification language and the semantics in the tabular notation is received. In order to validate the specification, a string may be identified for the specification. The string may indicate characters conforming to the specification language. Upon identifying the string, a token may be generated using the string. The token may be a binary representation of the string. The token may be arranged into a data structure. The specification is checked to conform to the specification language. Two or more specifications specified in the specification language are merged. A test case is generated from the validated specification. The expected behavior with the actual behavior of the specification is validated.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2014Date of Patent: December 29, 2015Assignee: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Goldsmith Murali Krishna, Ulka Aniruddha Shrotri, Venkatesh R

Patent number: 9158506Abstract: Loop abstraction includes determining an original loop within the source code. The original loop includes a control statement and a loop body such that the original loop causes the loop body to be repeatedly executed based on the control statement. Further, output variables in the original loop and a number of blocks associated with the original loop are identified. The number of blocks is indicative of a count of unconditionally executed statement sets in which at least one output variable is computed. An abstract loop corresponding to the original loop is generated by adding a modified expression for accelerated assignment for each output variable in a subset of the output variables, and replacing the control statement with a bounded control statement. The original loop is replaced with the abstract loop for generating an abstract source code for the model checking.Type: GrantFiled: February 27, 2015Date of Patent: October 13, 2015Assignee: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: Priyanka Dilip Darke, Bharti Dewrao Chimdyalwar, Venkatesh R, Ulka Aniruddha Shrotri

Patent number: 9142143Abstract: A tactile graphic display for providing a display representation of a graph or image generated by a graphic device for visually impaired users or other users who wish to access tactile information. The tactile graphic display includes a control and interface module in communication with a dot matrix, which is associated with pin nut assemblies including caps that serve as dots in the dot matrix. The control and interface module provides motor drive signals that raise selected dots above the top surface of a top panel to form the dot matrix display. Proximity sensors in or associated with the top panel sense touching of one or more dots and/or proximate presence of a finger or hand near the top surface of the top panel. The proximity sensors provide dot matrix engagement signals to the control and interface module for processing.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: September 22, 2015Inventor: Venkatesh R. Publication number: 20150250427Abstract: A system and method for determining the amount of fluid to be removed from a dialysis patient is disclosed. The system utilizes sensors and a computer. The computer obtains the input parameters from the sensors, along with information added directly by the user, and performs a forward algorithm to determine a recommended change in patient fluid level. As fluid is removed, the effect of the removal on the parameters is detected by the sensors and re-transmitted back to the computer. The computer then performs a backward algorithm to refine the variables used in the forward algorithm and obtain more accurate results. The system and method provide for changing the amount of fluid removed from the patient based on the results of the algorithm and the data received from the sensors.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 12, 2014Publication date: September 10, 2015Applicant: Medtronic, Inc.Inventors: Orhan SOYKAN, Christopher M.
