Abstract: A gasket assembly for attaching a window to a panel opening includes an inner frame, an outer frame, and an elastic material connecting the inner frame to the outer frame. The elastic material extends contiguously and circumferentially to couple the outer frame to the inner frame. The outer frame and inner frame can include gap flanges and the elastic material can include opposing lateral side portions. The gap flanges are embedded in the lateral side portions of the elastic material. The outer frame includes connecting structure for coupling of the outer frame to the panel opening. The inner frame includes a connecting structure for coupling of the gasket assembly to the window. The gasket assembly is configured to support the window in the panel opening and form a seal between the panel opening and the window. A method of making a gasket assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: An improved ultrasonic waveguide for an ultrasonic thermometry system is provided. The waveguide includes a series of sensing zones, each of which is tuned to a specific narrow frequency band. The waveguide is acoustically coupled to a transducer, which launches a longitudinal elastic wave of desired waveform and frequency. The wave propagates down the waveguide, and is reflected from the sensing zone that is tuned to that frequency. Each sensing zone is designed to be highly reflective to a narrow frequency band while being transparent to other frequencies.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to a microformat for unified printing of web content. In example embodiments, a system obtains web content that is displayed in a web browser, where the web content includes meta tags that specify print property assertions and print property intents. The system processes the print property assertions to determine printing device capabilities that are compatible with the web content and identifies printing devices that satisfy the printing device capabilities. At this stage, the system processes the print property intents to determine a print layout of the web content and sends a print job for the web content to one of the printing devices, where the print job is generated based on the print layout of the web content.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a utility for configuring data sources in a networked computer system are disclosed. A networked computer system may include a number of backend systems hosting a variety of types of data resources including databases produced by a variety of vendors. Application servers running transactional applications as well as many other types of computer systems may be included in the networked system. The data source configuration utility may determine the data source configuration parameters associated with each of the various types of data resources included in the system. When a data source is selected for configuration, the utility may present the configuration parameters corresponding to that particular data source to the user. The utility may create one or more data source configuration files based on parameter values received from the user.

Abstract: Various embodiments of a networked computer system in which an application server associates an identity with each data source included in the system are disclosed. The networked computer system may include several backend systems, each including one or more data resources, and the identity of a data source may be unique to a data resource. Abstract: The present invention provides a multi-range force sensor comprising a load cell made of a shape memory alloy, a strain sensing system, a temperature modulating system, and a temperature monitoring system. The ability of the force sensor to measure contact forces in multiple ranges is effected by the change in temperature of the shape memory alloy. The heating and cooling system functions to place the shape memory alloy of the load cell in either a low temperature, low strength phase for measuring small contact forces, or a high temperature, high strength phase for measuring large contact forces. Once the load cell is in the desired phase, the strain sensing system is utilized to obtain the applied contact force. The temperature monitoring system is utilized to ensure that the shape memory alloy is in one phase or the other.
