Abstract: A wireless communications networks (100) and mobile wireless communications devices (120) that receive contextual information, which is unavailable in certain regions (160), which may not be populated with contextual information sources or due to temporary interruptions. In some modes of operation, the contextual information is provided to the wireless communications device via a contextual information discriminator, which may be located either in the network or on the wireless communications device, for example when contextual information requested is unavailable.

Abstract: A method for delivering requested media content is provided. A requested media object requested by a user device is received, the requested media object including media of at least a first type. A first new media object is created, the first new media object having at least some of the media of the requested media object of the first type. A second new media object is created, the second new media object having at least some of the media of the requested media object of a second type, if any. At least one user interface mechanism is inserted into the second new media object, the at least one user interface mechanism corresponding to media of the requested media object of the first type included in the first new media object. The second new media object is delivered to the user device, and the first new media object is delivered to a secondary device separate from the user device.

Abstract: To address the need for managing both mobile (109-111) and non-mobile (112-113) terminals without the need for terminals to support multiple system managing protocols, a method, apparatus, and system for enterprise management is described herein. A gateway (102) is provided that translates and schedules commands for the non-mobile network into commands for the mobile network. Such a gateway (102) allows for the system manager to utilize a single network management protocol to access both the mobile and non-mobile networks.
