    Abstract: A crème for use in connection with the treatment and prevention of ingrown hair. The crème basically comprises a carrier, preferably water and an active amount of encapsulated bromelain, the encapsulated bromelain preferably comprising an inert silicone, preferably cyclomethicone. Other components can be added to the composition, for example, beeswax, sunflower seed oil, shea butter and/or Tea Tree oil. The crème can be used to treat acne, as well.
