Abstract: A cake stacking apparatus includes a base having a plurality of elongated rod members or the like that are configured to support a layer of a multi-layered cake. One or more alignment members may be slidably disposed on the rods. The rods extend through openings in the alignment members, and the alignment members thereby retain the elongated rods in a substantially parallel position relative to one another. An optional second alignment member may be utilized to position the distal ends of the elongated rods to facilitate positioning of the first alignment member onto the distal ends of the elongated rod members.
