  • Patent number: 7360593
Abstract: Coatings for well screens that protect the screens from damage as they are inserted into the wellbore and once in the well, release reactive materials to react with and degrade potentially plugging materials such as drill solids, fluid filtercakes, fluid loss additives, and drilling fluids. The coatings can be specifically designed for individual well conditions and are comprised of a binder that either melts or dissolves within the wellbore and one or more reactive materials such as acids, enzymes, surfactants, chelants, oxidizers or free radical generators and the like which are released into the screen and the near wellbore area and which are effective in degrading or dissolving materials which could potentially plug the screen.

  • Patent number: 7018063
Abstract: A solar powered lighting assembly for attachment to an eaves trough mounted on an outer wall surface includes a lamp, a rechargeable power source, a solar panel assembly, a mounting bracket and a connector arm. The rechargeable power source is connected to the lamp to provide operational power. The solar panel assembly is coupled to the rechargeable power source to provide electrical power for recharging the rechargeable power source. The mounting bracket is coupled to the inside surface of the eaves trough and is used to support the rechargeable power source and the solar panel assembly. The connector arm is coupled to the lamp and is adapted to be removeably coupled in between the eaves trough and the outer wall surface.

  • Patent number: 6109548
Abstract: A sprayer system for reducing the need to manually create pressure within a portable spray unit. The inventive device includes a reservoir, a manual pump, an electric motor, a battery electrically connected to the electric motor, an air compressor mechanically connected to the electric motor, a valve stem within the reservoir, and a safety valve within the reservoir. The valve stem can be utilized by a user to connect a conventional air tank thereto for inserting high amounts of air pressure directly into the reservoir without requiring the use of the manual pump or electric pump. If a power switch is closed, the electric motor will operate the air compressor whenever the air pressure within the reservoir drops below a predetermined level. When the air pressure within the reservoir rises above a predetermined level, the electric motor is deactivated thereby preventing the reservoir from becoming over-pressurized. The manual pump may be utilized when the electric pump fails or the battery becomes discharged.
