  • Publication number: 20250230493
Abstract: Provided herein is a method of identifying modified cytosines in genomic DNA in a biological sample. The method includes isolating, from the biological sample, nucleic acids comprising genomic DNA comprising cytosines and modified cytosines, contacting the isolated genomic DNA under conditions resulting in deamination of the genomic DNA thereby converting at least some of the cytosines in the genomic DNA to uracil and at least some of the modified cytosines to thymine, contacting the deaminated, isolated the genomic DNA with an enzyme to remove uracil from the genomic DNA, amplifying the genomic DNA lacking uracil using primary-directed template amplification, and sequencing the genomic DNA, wherein the sequencing identifies the modified cytosines in the genomic DNA of the single cell.

  • Publication number: 20210228136
Abstract: An electrophysiology catheter with a distal electrode assembly having covered spine carrying a plurality of microelectrodes. The spines have nonconductive covers that are reinforced with tensile members, e.g., wires or fibers, that extend (or have portions that extend) longitudinally so as to minimize any elongation of the covers and the microelectrodes carried thereon. The tensile members may also have a length greater than the length of the spines so the proximal portions extend proximally from the spines, through the catheter and at least into the control handle for actuation by an operator for deflecting and moving the spines, like “fingers.

  • Publication number: 20120292331
Abstract: A container indicator system having an internal surface and internal area for storage of materials and an external surface; and an indicator (swiveling arm, reflector, textile material, rubber, plastic, metal flag, sign) attached to the container. The indicator described is optionally a flexible material, a swiveling arm integrated with an axis and a swiveling arm without an axis, a reflector or combinations of the foregoing and even multiple combinations of the foregoing to indicate various states of the container. The indicator is attached to the internal or external surface of the container or in the case of the swiveling arm (using a mounting plate) that acts itself as an indicator a further indicator like a reflector, or flag is attached near its extreme external end. The indicator is moveable from the internal area of the container to an external area.
