Abstract: A toolbar displays dynamically configured controls based on a size of a window in which an application is running and on the media type presented. A large set of available controls may be available for the toolbar; however, the size of the application window in which the application is running may not be able to display all of the available controls in the window in such as way as to be comfortably used by a user. Accordingly, the controls may be scaled, filtered, and interchanged according to the “real estate” available in the application window, as well as other contextual aspects of the application, to provide a more user-friendly experience.

Abstract: The technology described herein is a system and methods for generating a branded background for user interfaces. In one embodiment, the background is generated based on a background template. A content partner may customize the background by providing a hue value, artwork and a logo. The background of the user interface is tinted a color associated with the hue value. The artwork and logo is placed in the background, and in one embodiment, the artwork comprises a watermark version of the artwork. Gallery content may also be layered over the background to create a UI having a theme.

Abstract: The method and system claimed recognizes phrases or segments within an electronic document, where the phrase or segment acts to trigger a function call to a sever component that connects to a CRM system or a CRM database and retrieves relevant information relating to and based on the recognized phrase. Further, the relevant information is formatted and displayed based on the content of the information retrieved and the context and content of the identified phrase.

Abstract: A method of storing data related to a first entity in a relationship and a second entity in the relationship in a database is disclosed. The method may include entering a name description of the second entity in the relationship into a second converse relationship field of a relationship entity, storing the name description of the second entity entered in the second converse relationship field of the relationship entity, storing a name description of the first entity in the relationship into a first converse relationship field of a relationship entity, allowing access to the stored name description of the second entity stored in the second converse relationship field of the relationship entity by accessing the first entity in the relationship and allowing access to the stored name description of the first entity stored in the first converse relationship field of the relationship entity by accessing the second entity in the relationship.
