  • Publication number: 20240136400
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to semiconductor structures and, more particularly, to a lateral bipolar transistor with gated collector and methods of manufacture. The structure includes: an extrinsic base region vertically over a semiconductor substrate and comprising asymmetrical sidewall spacers on opposing sidewalls of the extrinsic base region; a collector region on the semiconductor substrate and separated from the extrinsic base region by at least a first spacer of the asymmetrical sidewall spacers; and an emitter region on the semiconductor substrate and separated from the extrinsic base region by a second spacer of the asymmetrical sidewall spacers.

  • Publication number: 20240115142
Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for non-intrusive monitoring and prediction of cardiac function of a user. The system (100) comprises a sensor device (102), a data capturing device (104), a data receiver module (106), an acoustic engine (108) and user devices (110), which communicate by using communication network (112). The sensor device (102) comprises a sensor array to capture micro-vibrations of physiological parameters of a user through a surface/mattress under which the sensor device (102) is positioned. The acoustic engine (108) converts the digital time-based vibration signals into frequency-based acoustic outputs such as physiological condition acoustic signals. Further, the acoustic engine (108) is configured to determine the user's current and future health issues based on the physiological condition acoustic signals. does not require trained medical practitioners to analyze the vibration signal of the user to determine the physiological conditions of the user.

  • Patent number: 11031930
Abstract: An electric circuit for powering a load using an IPD includes a charge pump and a comparator. A first conductive path connects the charge pump to a positive node of the comparator. A second conductive path connects the battery to a negative node of the comparator and is also connected to a ground. A third conductive path connecting an output of the comparator to the IPD. A second diode is disposed on the third conductive path with the anode connected to the IPD and the cathode connected to an output of the comparator. The comparator generates a low output signal when the charge pump voltage is less than the battery voltage so as to provide a path for current from the battery to flow through the first diode into the output of the comparator and to the ground.

  • Publication number: 20210001913
Abstract: A delay unit for use in a steering wheel system, the steering wheel system having a steering wheel and a horn actuated by a tactile input configured to provide electric power to a semiconductor switch electrically coupled to the horn. The delay unit includes a semiconductor switch and a time charging unit connected in parallel with the semiconductor unit. The time charging unit is configured to hold a predetermined amount of electric power before electrically connecting the electric power to the semiconductor switch. As such, the time charging unit generates a delay in the transmission of electric power to the semiconductor switch so as to prevent the horn from being actuated when the steering wheel is mounted onto the steering column.

  • Publication number: 20100033012
Abstract: For a motor vehicle control device including one or more first high-side-actuated loads which is/are driven by a load actuator and, in particular, at least one further high-side actuated load, wherein the load actuator and the loads are supplied with voltage via at least two high-side paths and via one or more low-side paths connected to a reference potential, a reliable, electronic polarity reversal protection, which ensures a high degree of operational security, is to be made available for a control device, which polarity reversal protection is more cost-effective than existing circuits for polarity reversal protection. For this purpose, at least one active semiconductor component is connected as a polarity reversal protection into a low-side path.
