Abstract: An infant anti-abandonment system and method includes an electrical communication network installed OEM into a vehicle, a transmitter coupled to the electrical communication network including, a plurality of weight detection sensors installed in the vehicle seats and at least one child car-seat, a wireless link between the electrical communication network and the plurality of weight detection sensors, a timer and an alarm. The infant anti-abandonment system and method is useful for alerting as to child-occupancy in an unattended vehicle.
