  • Publication number: 20060220458
Abstract: A vehicle ignition module that is activated by a signal transmitted from a vehicle entry FOB that is engageable with the module. The module includes a PCB for activating the vehicle ignition in response to the signal transmitted from the FOB and for immobilizing the vehicle ignition in the absence of the signal. An antenna assembly receives and communicates the signal to the PCB, a rotation position sensor switch is activated in response to rotation of the FOB while engaged with the module, the switch being electrically connected to the PCB, and an actuator mechanism transmits to the position switch the rotational displacement and axial displacement of the FOB.

  • Patent number: 6746067
Abstract: This invention relates to a control panel for a vehicle interior. The control panel includes a housing defining a recess formed therein. A panel is movably attached to the housing, such as by a pivot. The panel has at least one control mechanism mounted thereon. The panel is movable between first and second positions. In the first position, the panel generally covers at least a portion of the recess. In the second position, the panel generally exposes the recess. Preferably, the housing defines a first surface within the recess, and a second control mechanism is mounted on the first surface.
