  • Patent number: 12138624
Abstract: A hand-held molecular diagnostic test device includes a housing, an amplification (or PCR) module, and a detection module. The amplification module is configured to receive an input sample, and defines a reaction volume. The amplification module includes a heater such that the amplification module can perform a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) on the input sample. The detection module is configured to receive an output from the amplification module and a reagent formulated to produce a signal that indicates a presence of a target amplicon within the input sample. The amplification module and the detection module are integrated within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20240354770
Abstract: A system for providing notifications to client devices that includes one or more processors and one or more storage devices. The storage devices may store instructions that, when executed, configure the processors to perform operations. The operations include receiving a transaction notification from a third party; identifying a user account associated with the transaction notification; generating a push notification with a payload describing instructions to display a message and an interactive icon, and a resource identifier associated with the interactive icon, where the resource identifier includes a message ID encoding an interactive session and an action ID encoding a requested action. The operations also include transmitting the push notification to a client device associated with the user account; receiving a first indication indicating a user interaction with the interactive icon, the first indication having the resource identifier and updating the user account based on the action request.

  • Publication number: 20210332408
Abstract: Poly and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAs) are extremely resistant to natural degradation. Described herein are compositions, assays, and methods for generating microorganisms capable of accelerating degradation of these products using a directed evolution strategy. A minimal media including the target carbon source of interest, creates selective pressure for microorganisms capable of degradation. Extremely slow growth rates on these alternative carbon sources is nevertheless measureable using automated image capture and processing pipeline allows one to observe very small changes in cell growth over the course of a very long period of time, thereby identifying microorganisms that could not otherwise be identified.

  • Publication number: 20130346218
Abstract: Various embodiments pertain to techniques for utilizing confidence indicators to adjust bidding values used to obtain impression opportunities. In various embodiments, a system clusters a plurality of ad impression opportunities according to received information regarding each of the ad impression opportunities. Information about the clusters, referred to as data spots, is calculated and utilized to classify the data spots into one or more categories. Bidding strategies are assigned to each category. When the system receives an ad impression opportunity from an impression provider, the system identifies a data spot to which the received ad impression opportunity corresponds and determines a bid for the ad impression opportunity according to the bidding strategy assigned to the category into which the identified data spot is classified.
