    Abstract: A simple device which attaches to an injection syringe for preventing possible contaminants in a fluid drawn into the syringe from being expelled therefrom into an intravenous solution, for example. The device hereof is simply comprised as a needle holder adapted for removable attachment to a syringe barrel for accepting the flow of a liquid into the syringe during loading of same and which automatically filters such liquid dispensed from the syringe through the needle.
