  • Publication number: 20250187577
Abstract: An electromechanical brake system comprises: a screw-nut mechanism comprising a rotatable body and a translatable body configured to be axially translatable relative to the rotatable body to move a brake pad according to rotation of the rotatable body; and an actuator assembly comprising a motor having a motor shaft, and a multiple-stage drive mechanism having belt and gear drive mechanisms and operably connecting between the motor shaft and the rotatable body of the screw-nut mechanism. The belt drive mechanism comprises: a drive belt; a drive pulley provided on the motor shaft; and a driven pulley connected to the drive pulley of the motor shaft via the drive belt, wherein the driven pulley is provided on an intermediate shaft. The gear drive mechanism comprises: a first gear provided on the intermediate shaft; and a second gear rotatably engaged with the first gear to rotate the rotatable body of the screw-nut mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20250162561
Abstract: A retainer comprises a snap ring part substantially discontinuous-ring shaped with opposed ends defining a break to be fitted over an outer surface of a ball nut; and an outer race part of a ball return formed on an inner surface of the snap ring part to be coupled with an inner race part of the ball return, end portions of the outer race part of the ball return to be connected to openings of the ball nut for recirculating balls. The snap ring part is extended further than the end portions of the outer race part of the ball return around the outer surface of the ball nut such that the snap ring part retains the outer race part, formed on the inner surface of the retaining ring portion, on the outer surface of the ball nut to be coupled with the inner race part of the ball return.

  • Patent number: 10234263
Abstract: A non-contact angle/torque sensor comprises an upper rotor in an annular shape having a central axis, and in which magnets are located, the magnets positioned within the annular shape around the central axis with the north and the south poles of adjacent magnets being oriented opposite to one another, and a lower rotor in an annular shape and sharing the central axis of the upper rotor, and located spaced outwardly from an outer circumferential surface of the upper rotor. The lower rotor has upper and lower stators spaced apart along the central axis. The upper stator has upper and lower backplanes and a series of upper and lower extensions extending from the respective backplanes. The upper extensions and the lower extensions are not intermeshed or overlapped.
