    Abstract: A chair rest member supported upon a back post includes a spring-urged laterally shiftable lever journalled within a housing carried by the rest member. A cutout in the back post includes a plurality of vertically spaced lock recesses selectively engageable by an offset catch on the lever to fixedly retain the rest member at a selected elevation.
