  • Publication number: 20080232986
Abstract: The invention provides the arrangement of a resilient and flexible tubular element, with shape memory, which contains the product to be metered and which receives an action of limited compression of the walls thereof, in such a way that there is no contact between the internal walls of the opening of the tubular element which propels the product, in such a way that the product supply and discharge are controlled by respective valves situated before and after the compressible tubular metering element.

  • Patent number: 7306420
Abstract: The method comprises a first stage of formation of a batch of a specific number of full containers to be emptied, which are then subjected to an operation of external washing by spraying with hot, de-ionized water and a subsequent rinsing operation, likewise by spraying with de-ionized water, passing then to a step of drying of the containers and afterwards to a step of cutting off one end of the containers, which then pass to a gripping step, in the same number of containers that were arranged in the batch at the start of the method, these being inverted to permit the fall and collection of the masses of plasma.

  • Patent number: 6832463
Abstract: A method for sterile dosing of vials comprises a step for fitting stopper and cap assemblies together and washing vials. The stopper/cap assembly is then fitted with its external protector and a step of sterilization in an autoclave under vacuum is then performed. A subsequent step of cooling in laminar airflow to prevent the entry of air and dosing and plugging are then performed with continuous display of the operation and taking of views with a video camera. Followed by encapsulation and re-plugging, step of marking of the glass of the vial by means of laser beams to identify time and dosing information is performed.

  • Patent number: 5549866
Abstract: A flow regulator for catheters and similar devices and a process for their manufacture. The regulator consists of a tube having both cross-sectional and longitudinal dimensions of pre-determined precision, the regulator having extended tubular extremities for connecting to the catheter feed system. The manufacturing process includes the insertion of an axially mobile internal rod concentric with the tube, followed by molding stage by flattening the tube around the internal rod which is inside the tube, high frequency heating of the tube around the internal rod to heat internal regions of the tube, and then, after suitable cooling period has elapsed, withdrawing the internal rod to leave the tube with its precisely dimensioned bore.

  • Patent number: 5477896
Abstract: The machine has a pump for the metering, at controlled pressure, of the perfusion liquid to the bag which is connected to the machine. Compressed air is supplied to the filter in the bag when it has been filled in order to check the bubble point. The machine includes a purifying filter, pressure transductor and connections to the liquid pipe as well as a suspended support for controlling the filling of the bag. The bag to be filled is coupled by suspension to the support. A safety system for the handling of the bag comprises front gates for closing the handling zone of the bags.

  • Patent number: 4671320
Abstract: Disclosed is an adjustable valve for liquid including a flexible tubular body having a first and a second end. The tubular body is capable of elongation along the longitudinal axis. Provided within the flexible tubular body is a substantially cylindrical rigid body the rigid having a diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the flexible tubular body to form a radial clearance between the rigid body and the inside surface of the flexible tubular body. Means for elongating the flexible tubular body along the longitudinal axis about the rigid body are also included, whereby elongation of the flexible tubular body reduces the radial clearance.
