Abstract: An apparatus to support a laptop computer so that it can stand on its edge/spine, thereby supporting the laptop in a vertical orientation so that the laptops footprint on the desktop is reduced. While the apparatus supports the laptop vertically its built-in screen is in the closed position. However, the user is still able to operate the laptop without the use of an electronic docking station simply by connecting directly to the laptop a full size keyboard, mouse and external monitor. An adjustable cradle accommodates laptops of various thicknesses.
