  • Patent number: 6288369
Abstract: An electric broiler-toaster-oven with the broiling heaters installed above the food to be cooked. In order to direct heat down to the food, it uses a reflector unit which consists of the absorber plate and a series of reflectors. This arrangement increases efficiency and the speed of cooking, and provides for extremely clean operation: no fumes are emitted, very few parts are to be cleaned, and no burnt deposits are created on food.

  • Patent number: 4600511
Abstract: In a fluid filter having a filtering medium comprising upper and lower layers defining therebetween a fluid receiving space into which the fluid to be filtered is introduced, and in which the filter supporting structure comprises a part which extends through both of the layers of the filtering medium, a spacer surrounds that part and retains the filter medium layers spaced from one another thereat, thereby significantly to increase the filtering capacity of the filter unit.

  • Patent number: 4281255
Abstract: A mover is provided having a housing and an element movable in the housing. Container means accommodates the gas which is heated under the action of a surrounding medium. The thus-heated gas is fed into the housing of the mover from the container means and expands in the housing so as to move the movable element. At the same time, the expanded gas is cooled and partially condensed. Then, a new portion of the gas is supplied into an opposite part of the housing and moves the movable element in an opposite direction. Thus, the gas, cooled and partially condensed in the previous step, is expelled from the housing of the mover and travels back into the container means wherein it is again heated under the action of the surrounding medium.

  • Patent number: 4237987
Abstract: A percussive tool includes a tool member and a member imparting strikes to the former. The tool member is located in a tool casing which is movable relative to a housing. A spring is located between the tool casing and the housing so as to substantially prevent transmission of impacts from the former to the latter. The tool housing is provide with a recess at a trailing end thereof into which a leading end of the imparting member can be received whereby the imparting member does not make contact with the tool casing. The axial length of the recess is such that when the tool casing is urged rearwardly to its initial position, a wall surrounding the recess surrounds the leading end of the imparting member.
