  • Publication number: 20240071585
Abstract: A system for tracking adverse events may include at least one processing device programmed to receive a request from a user to record an adverse event experienced by a patient; receive a search term input by the user; identify, in an adverse event database and based on the search term, at least one database record for an adverse event, wherein the at least one database record includes an adverse event type and at least one characteristic; receive, via an input field, a rating of the at least one characteristic for the patient; generate an adverse event record based on the adverse event type and the rating; and store the adverse event record in an adverse event log.

  • Patent number: 10696570
Abstract: An electrochemical cell for wastewater treatment is disclosed comprising a catalyst coated membrane, an open pore mesh placed next to the catalyst coated membrane, on each side of the membrane, and a compression frame placed next to each of the open pore meshes. The open pore meshes and the compression frames are made of a conductive material. Each compression frame has compression arms spread within the area delimited by the perimeter of the frame to apply a uniform compression force across the anode and cathode active areas through fasteners which protrude through the compression arms, the open pore meshes and the catalyst coated membrane. A stack comprising at least one such electrochemical cell is immersed in a reactor tank containing the wastewater to be treated.

  • Patent number: 9382139
Abstract: A method of dissolving and/or inhibiting the deposition of scale on a surface of a system comprises the step of bringing the surface of the system into contact with a composition. The composition can comprise from about 3 to about 15 parts by weight of a chelating component. The chelating component is selected from the group of MGDA, NTA, HEDTA, GLDA, EDTA, DTPA, and mixtures thereof. The composition can further comprise from about 3 to about 15 parts by weight of an acidic component, which is different than the chelating component. The composition can further comprise at least about 60 parts by weight of water. Each of the parts by weight ranges above are based on 100 parts by weight of the composition. The composition may further comprise a surfactant component and/or a corrosion inhibitor.

  • Publication number: 20100303050
Abstract: The method for implementing an Intelligent Content Rating middleware platform and gateway system disclosed herewith provides telecommunications carriers and network operators with the ability to define routing and actions based on HTIP/SIP based content and subscriber context through a powerful, extensible Layer 4-7 switching fabric technology. The invention mediates communications between applications and networks for IP packet flows, personal messaging, location-based services and billing. Furthermore, it enables advanced context-sensitive dialogue scenarios with the wireless subscriber such as, but not limited to, Advice-of-Charge dialogues. The art permits telecommunications network operators and like entities to introduce real-time rating of data services for both prepaid and post-paid subscribers. Further advances in the art include the validation of digital signatures, combined with authentication and non-repudiation techniques to ensure subscriber privacy remains protected.
