  • Publication number: 20230090197
Abstract: A protective device is provided that covers a drill chuck to protect it from dust or debris that may be released when a material is being drilled. The protective device has a mixed gasket comprising two sheets with fins that in their central part have independent movement where both are perforated (female type), while the other sheet contains caps (males) that are joined for better manufacturing, wherein said males are long so that they pierce the female holes and embed themselves in a base that is located directly in the protective device, allowing its adequate fastening.

  • Patent number: 11594071
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for simulating the rendering of a make-up product on the face of a subject, using a database of reference images including, for each reference individual, images of the face with and without the makeup product. The method includes: acquiring an image of the subject face without makeup; processing the image to extract, for each spatial area of each spatial frequency range of the image, first color feature values of the spatial area; determining, among the database of reference images, reference individuals having, when wearing no makeup, color feature values similar to the first color feature values of the subject; determining, from the first color feature values of the subject, and from color feature values of the reference individuals with and without the makeup product, second color feature values; and generating a modified image of the subject face based on the second color feature values.

  • Patent number: 11299319
Abstract: The present invention relates to a top lid for beverage cans, with an opener built into a hygienic cover. The hygienic cover is designed to cover the area around the opening part defined in the top lid, thereby protecting the contact portion of the lip of the top lid from atmospheric impurities and keeping the can clean during storage. The hygienic cover also has an opening system that presses on the opening part of the lid and breaks the part along the recessed seam when the cover is levered. The opening system has a reinforcement notch that improves the rigidity of the opening system, such that the opening system reliably breaks the opening part of the lid without failure, even if a high pressure is acting on the inner surface of the opening part. The configuration and arrangement of the notch in the opening system can be changed freely according to the design conditions of the can, or the internal pressure acting on the opening part and the size of the can.

  • Publication number: 20220031903
Abstract: Solution distribution systems and methods of manufacturing and operating the same are provided. Solution distribution systems discussed herein are configured to dispense an anti-pathogenic solution into an air stream managed by an air handling system. Such solution distribution systems include a dispersion nozzle assembly structured to dispense the anti-pathogenic solution into the air stream in a dispersion pattern. The solution distribution systems also include a pump module configured to deliver the anti-pathogenic solution to the dispersion nozzle assembly at a dispersion pressure. The disclosed solution distribution systems further include a controller disposed in electrical communication with a control valve and the pump module. The controller is configured to engage the control valve to dispense the anti-pathogenic solution via the dispersion nozzle assembly into the air stream for a dispersion event period and at a dispersion interval.

  • Patent number: 10956716
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for building a neural network tool to determine, by processing a picture of a human face, a score representative of a qualitative feature of the face, including performing a training session of an initial neural network to assess, from the picture, an estimated age of the person. The initial neural network includes layers of neurons and associated weights, and each training session is performed on a first database of face images with associated ages, and each training session outputs an updated version of the neural network with adjusted weights. For each updated version of the initial neural network corresponding to a training session, evaluating an error of part of the initial neural network on another database of images with each associated with a reference score representing the qualitative feature, selecting the part of the initial neural network in the updated version corresponding to the minimum.

  • Patent number: 10860755
Abstract: A method for modelling age-related traits of a face, from a picture of the face is provided, wherein the age-related traits are either wrinkles or age spots, the method including: for each age-related trait of the face of the same nature, generating a vector including parameters of shape and appearance of the trait; and generating, from the generated vectors, a single representation vector modeling the age-related traits of the same nature in the face. The single representation vector stores information regarding the number of traits in the face and joint probabilities, over the face, of the shape and appearance features of the traits.

  • Publication number: 20120226442
Abstract: Three seismic waves are emitted from different emission points situated outside the well that is to be positioned relative to a seismic image. The times of arrival of these seismic waves are measured on a detector placed in the well. The propagation of the seismic waves emitted from the respective emission points is simulated using a speed model that has been used to construct the seismic image. The simulation provides the respective wavefronts presented by each of the waves at the end of a time equal to the time of arrival measured on the detector for this wave. The detector can then be positioned in the envelope area of the wavefronts, adjacent to the intersection of the wavefronts estimated in the seismic volume.
