    Abstract: A non-contact type coaxial switch that eliminates all contacts and inner conductors. The switch includes a stator/coax base assembly and a rotor. The stator/coax base assembly is fixed, while the rotor is rotatably mounted to the stator/coax base assembly and eliminates all contacts and inner conductors. The rotor is disposed between bearings, and consists of waveguide paths that couple between selected coax connectors. When the rotor is rotated, different selected coax connectors occur. For other arrangements selected, the rotor can switch between a condition of coax and waveguide outputs. The rotor, between bearings, consists of waveguide paths which couple between selected coax connectors. When the rotor is rotated, a different selected coax connector occurs. For other arrangements selected, the rotor can switch between a combination of coax and waveguide outputs. The switch can assume many configurations.

    Abstract: A self-latching sector motor for producing a net torque from two integral independent sources where one can serve as a spare backup or paralleled for double net torque or used alternately for extended life operation. The self-latching sector motor includes a housing, a magnet-shaft assembly, and two pair of electromagnetic poles. The magnet-shaft assembly rotates within the housing. The two pair of electromagnetic poles extend fixedly and radially inwardly from the housing, towards the magnet-shaft assembly. The electromagnetic poles of an associated pair of electromagnetic poles are diametrically and magnetically opposed to each other, and each pair of electromagnetic poles are similarly poled to each other for North and South poles so as to provide the net torque to the magnet-shaft assembly that can be backed-up or doubled. The self-latching torque at the stops is achieved by restraining the magnet-shaft assembly from seeking a position of maximum flux.

    Abstract: A method of making a light active sheet. A bottom substrate having an electrically conductive surface is provided. A hotmelt adhesive sheet is provided. Light active semiconductor elements, such as LED die, are embedded in the hotmelt adhesive sheet. The LED die each have a top electrode and a bottom electrode. A top substrate is provided having a conductive layer. The hotmelt adhesive sheet with the embedded LED die is inserted between the electrically conductive surface and the conductive layer to form a lamination. The lamination is run through a heated pressure roller system to melt the hotmelt adhesive sheet and electrically insulate and bind the top substrate to the bottom substrate. As the hotmelt sheet is softened, the LED die breakthrough so that the top electrode comes into electrical contact with the conductive layer of the top substrate and the bottom electrode comes into electrical contact with the electrically conductive surface of the bottom substrate.

The emissive particulate receives electrical energy through the charge-transport matrix material applied as a voltage to the first electrode and the second electrode photo-radiation. The emissive particulate generates photo-radiation in response to the applied voltage. This photo-radiation is effective for the selective polymerization of photo-radiation curable organic material.
