  • Patent number: 4133064
Abstract: An inflatable child's pillow formed of elastomeric sheet material which, upon inflation, has the configuration of the head of an animal with fully open jaws. The pillow includes a relatively flat bottom wall adapted to rest upon a bed or floor surface, a portion of such bottom wall defining the undersurface of the animal's lower jaw. It is the inflated lower jaw that serves as a resilient support for a child's head when the pillow is in use, the child's head thus being positioned within the animal's open mouth. Deformation of the pillow resulting from the weight of a child's head on the resilient lower jaw causes air displacement which in turn produces slight but noticeable movement of the animal's upper jaw. One or more partitions may be provided within the pillow to reinforce the pillow and limit the extent and/or rate of such air displacement.

  • Patent number: 4121829
Abstract: A kick ball game comprising an inflatable ball formed of elastomeric material connected to a tether which is looped around a player's neck. The tether includes a connecting segment anchored to the ball, a highly stretchable elastic segment joined to the connecting segment, and an elongated substantially non-stretchable cord secured to the elastic segment. At its free end, the cord is equipped with a spring clamp capable of releasable attachment to the cord itself to form a closed loop to be fitted about the neck of a player. By adjusting the position of the clamp along the portion of the cord received by the jaws of the clamp, the player may eliminate slack in the tether and thereby suspend the ball in front of his foot or, less desirably, his knee or lower leg. Thereafter, the ball may be kicked, swinging outwardly away from the player's foot and then back towards his foot where it may be kicked again, the process being repeated by the player in an attempt to establish a record number of successive kicks.

  • Patent number: 4030736
Abstract: A magnetic target throwing game is provided in a package which forms part of the game. The package is a rectangular cardboard having its side edges folded over into a frame-like edge, joined together at the corners so that the back of the package presents a flat surface with a frame about the sides thereof. On the surface, within the frame is depicted the outline of a head, for example, or perhaps a spider web on which is shown a spider. Removable elements, which may be facial features, such as eyes, nose, mouth etc., or a fly, are provided, having a magnetic back piece to be thrown at and magnetically held on the head outline, or the spider web on the surface of the back of the package. The package is then enclosed in a transparent plastic sheet.
