  • Publication number: 20080087721
Abstract: Identification card, comprising a card body (1) with graphic identification information, wherein light emission means emit the identification information in visible or invisible light. The light emission means can consist of a flat light emitting diode (2) (FLED), for instance a Polymer FLED. The FLED can be connected with an internal or external electrical source. One or more layers (8 . . . 13) of the FLED that are needed for light emission can contain the graphic identification information or a part thereof, that is, the graphic identification information can be contained in the shape of that layer or layers and/or in the composition thereof. The graphic identification information can also be contained in the shape and/or intensity of the electrical field in, and the electrical current through, those layers (12), respectively, as effected by the electrical source.

  • Patent number: 7025229
Abstract: An assembly of a package that includes a flexible sheet-like foil material containing a viscous material, with apparatus for metered emptying of the package. The apparatus includes a frame, a guide, and a substantially flat two-part supporting surface. A metering control is movable along the supporting surface. The guide holds the metering control in a substantially fixed orientation relative to the supporting surface. The metering control empties the package by nipwise pressing the package flat onto the supporting surface. The frame includes a stationary part and a movable part, which parts form a continuous, uninterrupted supporting surface in a first position and which parts close off an open package by squeezing it shut in a second position.

  • Publication number: 20040104248
Abstract: An assembly provided with a package and an apparatus for the metered emptying of the package, which package contains viscous material and is at least partly manufactured from flexible sheet-like foil material. The apparatus comprises a frame with guide means and a substantially flat two-part supporting surface, as well as metering control means which, guided by the guiding means, can be moved, in a position substantially not changing as regards their orientation relative to the supporting surface, over and along the supporting surface. Emptying takes place by nipwise pressing the package flat onto the supporting surface with the metering control means.

  • Publication number: 20030098316
Abstract: A metering apparatus for emptying a package containing a viscous material, which apparatus comprises a frame (1) with a substantially flat supporting surface, on which a package (6) manufactured from a flexible foil material can be positioned, and a metering control means (2, 3, 4), which can empty the package by means of activation. The package (6) can be squeezed nipwise by cooperation with the supporting surface, starting from a first end in the direction of an opposite second end, by moving the metering control means, for instance a roller or rod, relative to the package, while through at least one discharge opening (6d) at the second end the viscous material is expelled from the package and the nipwise squeezing can be continued until at least the discharge opening (6d).
