    Abstract: Wearable articles, such as adhesive tapes, for prevention of tick and other pest bites includes flexible substrates having first and second opposite sides. The first side includes an adhesive configured to adhere the article to a user's skin, while the second side includes an attractant site configured to attract the pest, and a trap site configured to trap the pest. Methods for making an adhesive tape for the prevention of tick bites include providing such a substrate, placing a skin adhesive on one surface, and placing a chemoattractant and tick or insect adhesive on the second surface.
