Abstract: Diagnosis and procedure terminology are ontologically organized according to context-based categories and medical concepts. The medical concepts are linked to aliases and medical codes used to document patient care. A user is guided to select and document additional medical concepts based on a medical concept dependency that has been created between certain medical concepts, some of which are required. A visual concept tree presents for user consideration all categories and medical concepts necessary to determine appropriate medical codes based on the disease, condition or injury in accordance with a ranking algorithm and user documentation preferences. Potential medical codes are also optionally presented for user consideration based on collected documentation and selected medical concepts.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for depositing roadway material using a road paving machine having a hopper for storing the roadway material, a feed conveyor for transferring the roadway material from the hopper to an auger, and a screed for levelling the roadway material. A trough prevents the roadway material from falling from the feed conveyor onto a road surface. The trough diverts and deposits the roadway material to one side of the paving machine.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for depositing roadway material on a road bed using a road paving machine having a spreader for laterally spreading the material and a screed for leveling the material. A guide underneath the spreader and the screed is used to control the height of the screed above the road bed. The guide also confines the width of the material deposited by the road paving machine to less than the width of the screed which is normally the standard width of material deposited by the road paving machine.
