Abstract: A domestic appliance includes a wireless transmitter provided within the domestic appliance, the wireless transmitter configured to emit a signal; a wireless communication module provided within the domestic appliance, the wireless communication module establishing a wireless connection between the appliance and a remote terminal; and a controller provided within the domestic appliance. The controller is configured for emitting, via the wireless communication module, the signal, wherein the signal contains a table of information uniquely associated with the domestic appliance, the table of information comprising a model identification and an indication of wireless connectivity.

Abstract: A culture chamber for microbiological competition assays using volatile compounds is provided, having a first receptacle, a second receptacle and a central part between the first receptacle and the second receptacle, wherein the receptacles have an outer wall and a perimeter wall perpendicular to the outer wall and wherein the central part has an intermediate wall with at least one opening and two side walls that extend from the perimeter of the intermediate wall in opposite directions, such that the side walls of the central part surround the perimeter walls of the receptacles and the perimeter walls of the receptacles are supported on the intermediate wall.

Abstract: A method for secure interaction with a website server capable of an authentication operation with a login operation checking a username and a password, is described. Standard web browsing environments are generally insecure and private information, such as passwords, are prone to theft. The proposed solution comprises securing the password used for the authentication in a trusted computing environment, such as a separate computer, without the need of revealing the password to a browser running in an untrusted computing environment, and basing the browsing on authentication data obtained as result of the login operation, that can be confirmed by the user in the trusted environment, prior of being performed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for the reductive acetamidation of an aryl nitro compound by reacting a substituted acid with an aryl nitro compound and adding a catalytic amount of a base with the substituted acid and the aryl nitro compound to form an acetamidation aryl nitro compound. The acetamidation aryl nitro compound is then purified.
