  • Publication number: 20190079508
Abstract: A collection of wirelessly connected devices monitored and controlled by a proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control loop application software executing on a wirelessly connected non-dedicated controller, that combine to form a wireless feedback control system that can manipulate the orientation of a vehicle frame to desired state. An inertial measurement unit (IMU), with six degrees of freedom, measures attitude with respect to gravity, is paired with wirelessly connected control mechanisms that effect the attitude of the vehicle, when controlled by software application that executes on the user provided smart phone or tablet, a closed loop control system is created that is completely wireless and where the controlling element is user provided and not dedicated to the system.

  • Publication number: 20190055977
Abstract: A retention strap for NTSB standard hitch safety pins. The retaining head has a ? inch and ½-inch hole for the most common hitch pins, and ¼-inch hole for storage of a backup safety clip. The retaining head contains magnets to ensure retention of the hitch pin under most force conditions. Additionally, the magnets can retain the safety clip. The magnets also allow the device and pin to be temporarily secured to any metal surface. The large securing loop allows for multiple options for connection to the hitch or receiver.

  • Publication number: 20180309537
Abstract: A device that controls the electrical connections to an accessory actuation solution, with integrated motion detection as an activation interlock, and diagnostic monitoring of the accessory. The device can use relays, or electronic drive solutions, to control electric or electro-hydraulic actuation devices. The device measures accelerations, rotations, voltages, currents, pressures, temperatures and other signals to provide diagnostic information about the accessory being controlled and vehicle to ensure safe operating conditions exist to activate the device. The device prohibits activation of the actuator if motion above a threshold is detected in more than one degree of freedom.
