  • Patent number: 11544647
Abstract: A computing device includes a processor and associated memory. The processor is configured to execute a personal information management service stored in memory to send a first calendar entry for display on a calendar interface for a user. The first calendar entry is for a first account of the user of a first domain. The processor sends a second calendar entry for display on the calendar interface. The second calendar entry is for a calendar of a second account of the user of a second domain. The processor receives a request for an availability of the user from a requesting user having a third account of the first domain. In response to the request, the processor sends to the requesting user the first calendar entry including first calendar entry details, and the second calendar entry without second calendar entry details.

  • Patent number: 10462008
Abstract: Cart mode provisioning of shared computing devices refers to provisioning or configuring the shared computing devices so that the shared computing devices operate in an appropriate mode for a particular shared usage environment. Such a shared usage environment can be, for example, a school environment in which the appropriate mode is a mode in which the shared computing devices are locked so that a limited number of programs and network accessibility is available to the shared computing devices. A user of a setup computing device selects some preferences regarding the setup of the shared computing devices, and a configuration package is generated that includes various configuration information based on the user selections. The configuration package is then made available to the shared computing devices, which are configured or provisioned in accordance with the configuration information.

  • Publication number: 20180034817
Abstract: Bulk joining of computing devices to an identity service is performed in two parts. In the first part, a user of a token retrieval device provides credentials to an identity service, which verifies the credentials and provides to the token retrieval device a bulk token for joining the service. In the second part, the bulk token obtained from the identity service is provided to each computing device in a group of multiple computing devices that are to join the identity service. Each computing device in the group of computing devices communicates with the identity service to join the identity service using the bulk token. The bulk token can be provided to each of the multiple computing devices in the group as part of a provisioning package that includes additional configuration information to be used to configure the computing devices in the group.

  • Patent number: 7076503
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for organizing media objects in a database using contextual information for a media object and known media objects, categories, indexes and searches, to arrive at an inference for cataloging the media object in a database. The media object may then be cataloged in the database according to the inference. A method and apparatus are provided for clustering media objects by forming groups of unlabeled data and applying a distance metric to said group.
