    Abstract: The invention provides methods, pharmaceutical compositions and kits for treating a subject having a carcinoma that is resistant to an antiprogestin. In particular, the methods comprise increasing the molar amount of progesterone receptor isoform A (PR-A) so that it is greater than that of isoform B (PR-B) and administering a therapeutically effective amount of an antiprogestin to the subject, thereby treating the carcinoma.
