  • Patent number: 9529985
Abstract: An authentication device may provide an authentication code to a third party device. The third party device may provide a third party service to which a client device has requested access. The authentication device may receive the authentication code from a mobile device that is different from the client device. The authentication device may determine a third party device identifier included in the authentication code. The third party device identifier may identify the third party device that provides the third party service. The authentication device may determine a transaction identifier included in the authentication code. The authentication device may selectively provide the transaction identifier to the third party device, identified by the third party device identifier, to cause the third party device to selectively permit the client device to access the third party service.

  • Patent number: 9336373
Abstract: A user device collects timing data that indicates screen touch timing behavior during multiple touch events associated with at least one of a hold time for a particular button or a transition time between two particular buttons. The user device also collects force data indicating screen touch force behavior during the multiple touch events. The user device identifies a user biometric pattern for the touch event based on the timing data and the force data, and stores the user biometric pattern.

  • Publication number: 20140351909
Abstract: A computer is configured to receive an authentication request that identifies one or more authentication form factors, and for each form factor identified, further identifies at least one parameter. The computer is further configured to generate a risk score for the authentication request using the parameter, the risk score being based at least in part on a complexity associated with each of the one or more authentication form factors. The computer is further configured to provide the risk score to a requester.

  • Publication number: 20130204708
Abstract: A server device receives, from a third party device, a question about a behavior of a user. The server device identifies an attribute required to provide an answer to the question, determines whether a profile of the user includes the attribute, and determines the answer based on the attribute when the profile includes the attribute, where the answer does not include any information that identifies the user. The server device also transmits the answer to the third party.

  • Patent number: 8255450
Abstract: A device may include a client. The client may be configured to send a request for a physical view about network devices that connect two end points of a network path. In addition, the client may be configured to receive information about the network devices of the network path in response to the request, the information including a complete list of physical devices in the network path in accordance with the request for the physical view. Further, the client may be configured to display the complete list of the physical devices in order the physical devices connect the two end points.

  • Patent number: 7318015
Abstract: A data model of a modeled environment is maintained within a database. The data model includes data defining a plurality of hierarchically arranged subsets of space within the modeled environment and data defining a plurality of items populating the modeled environment. In response to a first user input selecting a plurality of features of the modeled environment, where each of the selected features is one of the subsets of space or one of the items, a plurality of graphical elements are displayed within a whiteboard window to represent the plurality of user selected features. A control for at least one function is also presented to the user in association with the whiteboard window. In response to a second user input selecting the control for the function, a logical connection between at least two of the plurality of features having corresponding graphical elements within whiteboard window are automatically generated by reference to a rule set.

  • Patent number: 7143100
Abstract: A data model of a modeled environment is maintained within a database. The data model includes data defining a plurality of hierarchically arranged subsets of space within the modeled environment and data defining a plurality of items populating the modeled environment. A data processing system displays within a display device at least first and second windows. The first window displays a map of the modeled environment, where the map includes at least one user-selectable graphical element representing one of the plurality of hierarchically arranged subsets of space or one of the plurality of items. In response to a first user input, a graphical element is copied from the first window and displayed within the second window. In response to a second user input selecting the graphical element within the second window, data from the database associated with the subset of space or item represented by the graphical element is presented.
