Abstract: A ring chamber (11) is formed between the ring element (2) and the lid element (1). Through the channels (6) the ring chamber (11) is in fluid communication with the inside of the container (3). The upper circumferential rim (12) forms a sealing surface matching a corresponding surface of the sealing lip (5) and cooperates therewith to form a sealing contact between the ring element (2) and the lid element (1). The ring element (2) is essentially rigid whereas the lid element (1) including the sealing lip (5) is substantially flexible. Accordingly, in a sealing configuration, the ring chamber (11) is sealed towards the outside. By deforming the sealing lip (5) the sealing contact is interrupted and liquid can be drunk. The deformation is reversible re-establishing the sealing configuration by the restoring force of the deformed lid element (1)/sealing lip (5), when deforming forces are sufficiently reduced.

Furthermore, an infusion device is provided that infuses food flavors from food suspended in a liquid. The infusion device includes a lid, a container having an open end and a closed end, and the agitating device placed between the lid and the container. The plurality of projections extends from the interior portion toward the closed end of the container. The interior portion of the agitating device includes a surface that supports the plurality of projections oriented between 0° and 180° relative to the surface.

The placemat includes a substantially planar bottom surface that forms a partial vacuum when provided in contact with an underlying surface and a first fastening mechanism provided at a top surface of the placemat. The tableware includes a second fastening mechanism that corresponds to the first fastening mechanism, the second fastening mechanism being detachably coupled to the first fastening mechanism. A lid is provided that secures to the tableware and includes another first fastening mechanism provided at a top surface thereof. A lock is provided that fixedly secures the first fastening mechanism and the second fastening mechanism. The lock may include a release mechanism that disengages the lock upon application of a force thereto. Alternatively, the lock may be removable by a separate tool that disengages the lock to allow the tableware and the placemat to be detached.
