  • Publication number: 20240279620
Abstract: A method of recovering viable phage from, for example, a crude phage preparation such as a lysate resulting from amplification of phage in bacterial cell culture is disclosed. The method may be “universal”; that is, applicable to the purification of a broad range of phage species and strains. The phage product resulting from the method may have an acceptably low endotoxin titer (e.g. less than 500 EU/ml) and sufficiently high phage titer (e.g. >1×109 PFU/ml) for use in therapeutic applications.
    Type: Application
    Filed: May 1, 2024
    Publication date: August 22, 2024
Inventors: Joseph Robert Fackler, Carl Merril, Jarrar Haider, Viet Dang

  • Publication number: 20160232231
Abstract: Method and system for enabling document and/or message users suggest each other contents for new document and/or message such as emails, instant messages, blogging and microblogging, social network page updates and other type of user generated contents, based on user's current selection, comprising a database and a content management software application. The suggested contents can be text, voice, video clip or other content objects which are extracted from a user's document and/or message content, are saved into the database, and are imported by other users to their document and/or message content through their owned criteria. The chain of suggestion and selection is continuous one by another until the users finish their document and/or message. Furthermore, rating the system comprises also software applications rating users' activities, enabling users to rate the suggested contents and top rating users can be rewarded.

  • Publication number: 20050080778
Abstract: A computerized method of populating a database composed of rows with applicability fields and parameter fields in a data structure, and of retrieving the data, such that the database may be used to yield relevant results with a minimum of data entries. In a first step, the method defines a hierarchy of applicability fields to suit a particular business model as well as the associated univocal retrieval process. In a second step, the method substitutes unknown applicability fields with a USUB. In a third step, the method prompts the input of appropriate parameter field values for the rows of applicability fields, including those having one or more USUBs. A retrieval method retrieves the data in the data structure. The invention thus enables the population and data retrieval from a database structure such that the database is useful to yield relevant results with a minimum of data entries.
