Abstract: A method for contactless vital sign monitoring includes transmitting, via a transceiver, radar signals for object detection. The method also includes generating a clutter removed channel impulse response from received reflections of the radar signals a portion of which are reflected off of a living object. The method further includes identifying a set of range bins corresponding to a position of the living object. Additionally, the method includes identifying a first set of signal components representing a respiration rate of the living object and a second set of signal components representing a heart rate of the living object.

Abstract: To facilitate coexistence of a first radio access technology (RAT) and a second RAT, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided. An example method of a first wireless device operating based on a RAT includes receiving a sidelink resource reservation from a second wireless device based on a second RAT, the sidelink resource reservation indicating a first set of resources. The example method further includes determining whether to exclude, from a candidate resource set for the first RAT within a sidelink resource pool for the first RAT, resources that overlap with the set of reserved resources for the second RAT. The example method further includes transmitting a sidelink transmission using one or more sidelink transmission resources selected from the candidate resource set in the sidelink resource pool for the first RAT.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product embodiments for providing a mid-stream deposit availability schedule to a customer electronically depositing a check. The deposit availability schedule is generated by activating a mobile financial application, receiving a customer request to deposit a financial instrument, and based on the customer request, activating a camera on the client mobile device to access a field of view of at least one camera and capture one or more images of a financial instrument, store, in a computer memory on the client mobile device, the one or more images. An optical character recognition program, resident on the client mobile device, extracts in real-time, one or more data fields from one or more portions of the financial instrument, communicates the one or more data fields to a remote deposit server and receives a deposit availability schedule, before acceptance of the remote deposit.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device may activate an independent synchronization source mode based on one or more conditions associated with the first device. The independent synchronization source mode may correspond to the first device operating as reference for synchronization. The first device may transmit one or more synchronization signals indicating a device type of the first device and indicating that the first device is operating as the reference for synchronization. For example, the first device may select one or more bits or an identifier corresponding to the device type to include in the one or more synchronization signals. A second device receiving the one or more synchronization signals may select the first device as a reference for synchronization based on the device type. The second device may synchronize with the first device using the synchronization signal.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a sidelink communication on a sidelink between the UE and another UE. The UE may transmit, on the sidelink, one or more feedback communications associated with the sidelink communication in a reporting period having a configurable periodicity and/or being configured to occupy an entire bandwidth of a resource pool configured for the sidelink. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sidelink transmission associated with a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index. The UE may monitor a quantity of retransmissions associated with the sidelink transmission within a time window. The UE may selectively retransmit the sidelink transmission based at least in part on the MCS index and the quantity of retransmissions. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to trigger a sidelink message to one or more UE of set of multiple other UEs. The first UE may then generate the sidelink message based at least in part on the triggering. In some cases, the sidelink message may include time and frequency resource information associated with sidelink control information received and processed by the first UE. The first UE may multiplex the sidelink message with a sidelink data message. The first UE may then transmit the sidelink message multiplexed with the sidelink data message to the one or more UE of the set of multiple other UEs.

Abstract: An apparatus may comprise a component for communicating using a first RAT and another component for communicating using a second RAT. Overlapping communication using the two RATs may cause problems for proper reception at the apparatus. The apparatus may detect that transmission or reception of a first packet using a first RAT will overlap in time with reception of a second packet using a second RAT. The apparatus prioritizes the first packet or the second packet based at least on a relative priority of the first packet and the second packet.

Abstract: A memory system configured to dynamically adjust the amount of redundant information stored in memory cells of a wordline on an integrated circuit die based on a bit error rate. For example, in response to a determination that a bit error rate of the wordline is above a threshold, the memory system can store first data items as independent first codewords of an error correction code technique into a first portion of the memory cells of the wordline, generate second data items as redundant information from the first codewords, and store the second data items in a second portion of the memory cells of the wordline. If the bit error rate is below the threshold, third data items can be stored as independent second codewords of the same length as the first codewords in the memory cells of the wordline.

Abstract: A soft input is obtained from a sense word corresponding to encoded host data read from the memory device and decoded using a parity-check matrix. A match array is maintained. Each iteration of an error correcting code operation a number of unsatisfied check nodes of a respective bit of the sense word is calculated for each bit of the sense word. A bit flip threshold from a threshold data structure is obtained based on a current iteration of the error correcting code operation, a soft bit associated with the respective bit, and a match bit associated with the respective bit. The respective bit is flipped based on the number of unsatisfied check nodes satisfying the bit flip threshold.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may identify a set of resources for exchanging, with a second UE, resource availability information associated with a sidelink channel. The set of resources are not allocated to a legacy UE. Accordingly, the first UE may exchange, with the second UE and using the set of resources, the resource availability information associated with the sidelink channel. Alternatively, the legacy UE may receive, from the second UE, a communication on a sidelink channel and determine that the communication is associated with resource availability information for the sidelink channel Accordingly, the first UE may discard the communication based at least in part on the communication being associated with resource availability information for the sidelink channel. Abstract: A method for filtering and removing false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression calculates the target filtering threshold to differentiate and eliminate false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression. It is applicable in radar signal processing systems using the polyphase P3-coded waveform (the P3 code) for both transmitted and received signals. This method leverages the characteristics of the P3 code's pulse compression output. Specifically, the sidelobes appear symmetrically on both sides of the main lobe, and the distance between the main lobe and the sidelobes is approximately equivalent to the pulse width of the transmitted signal, extending to both sides of the main lobe. For each pulse width of the signal, this distance is fixed and can be predetermined. Experimental results on radar systems have demonstrated that the proposed method effectively filters out all false targets caused by sidelobes in pulse compression.

Abstract: A method includes causing a read operation to be initiated with respect to a set of target cells. For each target cell, a respective group of adjacent cells is adjacent to the target cell. The method further includes obtaining, for each group of adjacent cells, respective cell state information, assigning, based on the cell state information, each target cell of the set of target cells to a respective state information bin, and determining a set of calibrated read level offsets. Each state information bin is associated with a respective group of target cells of the set of target cells, and each calibrated read level offset of the set of calibrated read level offsets is associated with a respective state information bin of the set of state information bins.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a first user equipment (UE), a first transmission from a second UE for a new radio (NR) sidelink channel. The method also includes receiving, by the first UE, a second transmission from a third UE for the sidelink channel. The method further includes transmitting, by the first UE, a feedback transmission based on a medium contention event for the first and second transmissions of the NR sidelink channel and on a range condition. In additional aspects, the feedback transmission is transmitted based on a quality condition, or both a range condition and a quality condition. An example memory sub-system comprises a controller managing one or more memory devices. The controller is configured to perform operations including: receiving data to be written to the memory device; selecting, from a set of modulation code permutations for modifying data to be written to the memory device, a modulation code permutation; determining that a cost metric value corresponding to storing data modified by the modulation code permutation on the memory device satisfies a target condition; generating, using the modulation code permutation, modulated data from the data to be written; and storing, on the memory device, the modulated data.

Abstract: Host data to be programmed to a plurality of memory cells associated with a wordline of a memory device is received from a host system. The host data into a plurality of partitions is divided. Each of the plurality of partitions is divided into a respective plurality of sub-partitions. One or more modulation mappings to be applied to the plurality of sub-partitions are determined based on the host data of the plurality of partitions. Host data of each sub-partition of the plurality of sub-partitions is modified based on the one or more modulation mappings. The modified host data of each sub-partition is written to the plurality of memory cells associated with the wordline.

Abstract: Described are systems and methods for adaptable data modulation. An example memory sub-system comprises a controller managing one or more memory devices. The controller is configured to perform operations, comprising: receiving a unit of data to be written to the memory device; splitting the unit of data into a plurality of segments; modulating each segment of the unit of data by a modulation operation using a modulation mask derived from a corresponding seed value; and generating a modulated unit of data comprising a plurality of modulated segments and a plurality of corresponding seed identifiers, wherein each seed identifier identifies a seed value that has been used for modulating a respective segment of the unit of data.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a first sidelink device may obtain an absolute time. The first sidelink device may perform a ranging session on a first sidelink connection with a second sidelink device to obtain a first propagation delay between the first sidelink device and the second sidelink device. The first device may generate a first corrected absolute time for the second sidelink device based at least in part on the absolute time and the first propagation delay such that the second sidelink device will also have the absolute time.
