Publication number: 20250055490Abstract: This application sets forth techniques for mitigating radio frequency (RF) interference from wired connections on cellular wireless reception quality, including pre-emptively determining when to perform RF interference mitigation based on various factors. An interference mitigation module in the wireless device determines whether to perform an interference mitigation procedure based on active and/or imminent use of a high-speed wired connection port for data transfer in parallel with a cellular wireless connection that uses a mid-frequency RF band or a high-frequency RF band. The wireless device determines a target cell in a low-frequency RF band and biases measurement reports sent to a cellular wireless network to handover and keep the cellular wireless connection to the target cell in the low-frequency RF band while a high-speed wired connection is active.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 3, 2024Publication date: February 13, 2025Inventors: Murali Mohan CHAKKA, Baohua ZHENG, Ioannis PEFKIANAKIS, Prashant H. Publication number: 20180218750Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying and learning emotions in conversation utterances are described. The system receives at least one of textual utterance data, audio utterance data and visual utterance data. A set of facial expressions are fetched from the visual utterance data. The system annotates the set of facial expressions with corresponding set of emotions using predictive modeling. Upon annotating, labelled data is generated by tagging the textual utterance data and the audio utterance data with the set of emotions. The labelled data along with non-labelled data is fed into self-learning model of the system. The non-labelled data is new textual utterance data. The self-learning model learns, from the labelled data, about the set of emotions. Further, the self-learning model also determines a new set of emotions corresponding to the new textual utterance data by using recurrent neural network. The self-learning model generates new labelled data and update itself accordingly.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 16, 2017Publication date: August 2, 2018Inventors: Chetan NICHKAWDE, Vijay Garg, Kartik Ballal

Patent number: 7490000Abstract: An alternative fuel vehicle having a fuel economy control module with associated logic that allows the vehicle to operate in a fuel economy mode based on a desired fuel economy preference. The fuel economy control logic is in electrical communication with a vehicle system controller (VSC) and may be integrally formed as a sub-module within the VSC. A fuel economy control switch controlled by the fuel economy control logic toggles between an on and an off position to enable or disable a fuel economy mode. A fuel economy control selector allows a user to select a desired fuel economy mode preference once the fuel economy control switch is on. The fuel economy mode selected represents a predefined desired fuel economy preference such as a distance per amount of fuel consumed, or alternatively, a percentage of a balance between a fuel economy operation and a fuel performance operation.Type: GrantFiled: August 29, 2006Date of Patent: February 10, 2009Assignee: Ford Motor CompanyInventors: Shahid Siddiqui, Allen Duan, Vijay Garg, Joseph Stanek, Elaine Chen, Ramakrishna Raju, Steven Schondorf, Floyd Cadwell, George Dolan, Jeffrey Boismier
