    Abstract: Some techniques described herein provide identification of a throughput estimate using a throughput estimation technique that is selected in accordance with an adjustable threshold. For example, the adjustable threshold may be based at least in part on a scheduling rate of a user equipment. In some aspects, the threshold may be adjustable based at least in part on a scheduling rate and a moving average derived from the scheduling rate. For example, the threshold may change over time based at least in part on a moving average derived from a past value of the scheduling rate and/or a current value of the scheduling rate. Thus, the threshold may decrease over time when the scheduling rate is relatively low (e.g., lower than the threshold), and may increase over time when the scheduling rate is relatively high (e.g., higher than the threshold).

    Abstract: A receiver may receive a plurality of data streams from a transmitter, each data stream of the plurality of data streams including at least one data stream, rank at least a subset of the plurality of data streams based on a metric that is based on a number of ACKs associated with each data stream, and transmit at least one subset of ACKs for the subset of data streams, wherein each subset of ACKs of the at least one subset of ACKs indicates a plurality of ACKs for a subset of packets of the subset of data streams. The rank of at least the subset of the plurality of data streams is generated based at least in part on an estimated number of ACKs for each data stream of the plurality of data streams.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes determining an original amount of uplink data stored in a non-compression buffer, the original amount of data designated to be transmitted to a network. The method also includes predicting, with a machine learning model, an amount of compression gain for the original amount of uplink data. The compression gain is obtained by compressing the original amount of uplink data during a time delay. The method further includes generating a buffer status report based on the original amount of uplink data and the predicted amount of compression gain. The method transmits the buffer status report to the network.
