Abstract: Provided herein are system, apparatus, device, method and/or computer program product aspects, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof for entity resolution and entity matching. A plurality of entity names in a target dataset are preprocessed by a language processing system to correct errors. Then, numerical embeddings of the plurality of entity names are generated using a text embedding model. A set of clusters that each include at least one numerical embedding of an entity name are generated. To identify duplicate entity names, a candidate cluster merge is generated between the two clusters in the set of clusters that have the highest similarity or lowest distance scores. Then an external auditing system accepts or rejects the candidate cluster merge. In response to the auditing system accepting the candidate cluster merge, the candidate clusters are merged.

Abstract: A method is provided for detecting a hybridisation indication indicative of an amount of hybridisation between a set of probe biomolecules provided at a reaction site and a set of sample biomolecules. The method includes supplying the set of sample biomolecules to the reaction site comprising the set of probe biomolecules. The reaction site is heated to cause dissociation of probe/sample-biomolecule-pairs previously hybridized when the set of sample biomolecules were provided to the reaction site. The hybridisation indication is generated based on detecting the dissociation of the probe/sample-biomolecule pairs caused by heating the reaction site.

In one example, a computing environment can publish, to an agent application on a client device, a deployment profile with a setting that specifies a restriction associated with download or installation of software updates by a subset of client devices that includes the client device. The computing environment can receive, from the agent application, an identification of a software update available for the client device. The computing environment can receive a specification of the subset of client devices to apply the software update. In response to a predefined interaction being performed, for example, by an administrator, the computing environment can direct at least one client device in the subset to install the software update.
