    Abstract: Described herein are examples of a computerized method that comprises: in response to obtaining information regarding a potential collision between a vehicle and an object, obtaining data describing the vehicle for a time period extending before and after a time of the potential collision. The method may determine a likelihood that the potential collision is a non-collision event based on the data describing the vehicle by performing one or more assessments. The assessments may include telematics monitor assessment, driver behavior assessment, road surface feature assessment, trip correlation assessment, and/or context assessment. In response to determining that the likelihood indicates that the potential collision is not a non-collision event, the method may trigger one or more actions responding to the potential collision.

    Abstract: An error injection system of a built-in self-repairable memory system renders the redundant spare columns of the repairable memory accessible to built-in self-test (BIST) read and write operations. To this end, the error injection system selectively injects fault data at one or more locations of the main memory during a BIST sequence, causing the BIST controller to issue a repair instruction that allocates one or more spare columns as replacement memory areas for the presumed faulty main memory locations. Thereafter, BIST read/write operations directed to the main memory locations will be performed on the allocated spare columns, thereby allowing the spare columns to be validated as part of the BIST. Injection of fault data to the main memory locations in this manner can also facilitate validation of the built-in self-repair logic by verifying the repair instruction codes that are generated in response to the injected faults.

The handheld device transmits that location information and the audiovisual information to a centralized server, only in the event that the user performs a predetermined gesture. Subsequently, the centralized server processes the location information and the corresponding audiovisual information, and identifies at least one electronic communication device accessible to at least one of rescue personnel, and subsequently transmits the location information and the audiovisual information, to the identified electronic communication device, preferably along with an SOS message.

    Abstract: A ramp system is disclosed that enables users to load and unload objects into the back of a vehicle. The ramp system comprises a ramp, and a housing unit secured within the back of the vehicle for storing the ramp. The ramp is removable from the housing unit and secured to a tailgate of the vehicle. The ramps would generally be configured in a ladder-like configuration comprising vertical support bars and a plurality of rungs. Typically, the ramps are secured to the tailgate of the vehicle via a bungee cord, hook, or hook ends. The housing unit is typically C-shaped and positioned on an inside of a vehicle walls, above a wheel well. The housing unit comprises a clamp and a lip for securing the ramps during transport, a locking-hinge lid which allows easy access to the interior of the housing unit, and storage compartments for storing accessories.

    Abstract: A compacting device is disclosed that is an at-home compactor for a variety of recyclable containers. The compacting device comprises a pair of opposing side units, wherein each of the opposing side units comprises a plurality of rollers secured together, creating a compacting zone. Typically, the plurality of rollers are secured together via a conveyor belt, and the surface of the conveyor belt would comprise a textured surface which creates friction to direct a recyclable container downward through the compacting zone. Furthermore, the compacting device comprises a storage unit for collecting the compacted recyclable containers, and a push component that assists with the downward movement of the recyclable containers through the compacting zone. The compacting device also comprises a selector component that funnels different types of recyclable containers into separate storage units, and a lid which acts to seal the contents of the compacting device and prevent leaks.

    Abstract: A 7 to 3 counter adds seven digital inputs all having a weight X and provides a three-bit sum including a sum bit having a weight X, a first carry bit having a weight 2X and a second carry bit having a weight 4X. The counter includes seven inputs arranged in consecutive order for receiving a binary 1 or a binary 0 input signal level at each of the inputs. A first circuit means is coupled to all of the inputs and provides the sum bit responsive to the binary levels of the inputs. Second, third, and fourth circuit means provides first, second and third intermediate carry bits. A full adder includes a first carry output and a second carry output and provides the first carry bit at the first carry output and the second carry bit at the second carry output responsive to the binary levels of the first, second, and third intermediate carry bits.
