  • Patent number: 11967165
Abstract: An Artificial Intelligence (AI) based document processing and validation system identifies anomalies such as errors, fraud, and duplicates of received documents and enables automatic actions for valid documents using machine learning (ML) techniques. The received documents are processed for determining probabilities for errors, fraud, and duplicates. A validation worklist is generated with the documents arranged in descending order of the probabilities and invalid documents with higher probabilities are flagged for review while the valid documents with lower probabilities are further processed for the execution of automatic actions. The feedback from the invalid document review is used to further train the models in determining the probabilities.

  • Publication number: 20160351208
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to a HAMR head. The HAMR head includes a main pole, a waveguide and a NFT disposed between the main pole and the waveguide. The NFT includes an antenna, and the antenna is made of a compound that has a composition that varies based on the location within the antenna. In one embodiment, the antenna has a surface at a media facing surface (MFS) and the surface has an apex, and the composition of the compound varies from the apex in a direction away from the apex. The apex has the highest temperature during the operation of the HAMR head, and having a composition that is thermally stable at the apex helps achieve higher reliability.

  • Patent number: 9311935
Abstract: A method of forming a wave guide for a heat assisted magnetic recording slider of a disk drive includes depositing a layer of waveguide material onto a substrate, and depositing a layer of a hard mask material onto the waveguide material. The method then includes depositing a layer of photoresist onto the hard mask material, and exposing the photoresist to produce a hard mask pattern that includes a waveguide pattern. The method also includes stripping the photoresist material leaving the hard mask pattern having a first line edge roughness. The method also includes removing the waveguide material not covered by the hard mask, the waveguide having sidewalls which having a line edge roughness which is substantially equal to the first line edge roughness. Also disclosed is an apparatus for accomplishing the method.

  • Patent number: 9230572
Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a magnetic head having a magnetic lip. The vertical sides and the bottom of the magnetic lip are covered by one or more conductive layers. In one embodiment, the bottom of the magnetic lip is covered by a first conductive layer and the vertical sides of the magnetic lip are covered by a second conductive layer. The conductive layers are made of a material that would not react with oxygen, thus no oxide films are formed on the vertical sides and the bottom of the magnetic lip during the manufacturing of the magnetic head.

  • Patent number: 9099111
Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a HAMR head. An insulating layer isolates the NFT from the magnetic lip of the magnetic pole. A noble metal alloy diffusion barrier layer is present between the insulating layer and the magnetic lip to prevent diffusion from the insulating layer into the magnetic lip. The noble metal alloy has a melting point of greater than about 1065 degrees Celsius, and the noble metals may be selected from Au, Pt, Ir, Re and Ru. The alloying elements comprise less than 10 percent of the alloy. The alloying elements can include Rh, W, Mo, Ni, Pt, Co, B, Ru and combinations thereof. The diffusion barrier layer may surround the magnetic lip, may surround the insulating layer, or may simply be at the interface of the insulating layer and the magnetic lip.
