  • Patent number: 12044797
Abstract: Techniques of machine learning of a radar are disclosed, where the radar has a plurality of antennas that are arranged on an antenna array. In an example, a method of machine learning includes obtaining a real training sample from a first real target in field of view of the radar, where the real training sample includes a plurality of first real data signals, where each of the first real data signals are obtained from a corresponding antenna from amongst the plurality of antennas. The method further includes deriving a synthetic training sample by manipulating the plurality of first real data signals to simulate a rotation of the first real target about a pre-determined axis of the antenna array.

  • Publication number: 20220057487
Abstract: Techniques of object classification are described. In operation, a radar signal reflected by an object within range of the radar detection system is received and at least one set of frequency components corresponding to the object are extracted. At least one set of unit energy samples corresponding to the object is then generated based on the at least one set of frequency components followed by computation of a range compensated energy (RCE) corresponding to the object based on the at least one set of frequency components, where the RCE is indicative of range normalized energy corresponding to the object. A feature vector corresponding to the object is then generated based at least on the at least one set of unit energy samples and the RCE, wherein the feature vector is representative of characteristics of the object.

  • Patent number: 9906347
Abstract: A method and a base station are provided for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) packets. The method includes bundling a plurality of HARQ packets in a HARQ process in a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) grant; and transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), the bundled plurality of HARQ packets in the HARQ process.

  • Patent number: 9877184
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods to avoid contact/identity disclosure when using a multiple subscriber identity module (multi-SIM) wireless electronic device are described. According to one method, if a call to a first party in a first SIM cannot be established using the first SIM, the call is established using a second SIM, but without the device displaying identity/contact information of the first SIM. According to the embodiment, the calling line identification restriction (CLIR) supplementary service may be used, a user-to-user signalling (UUS) service may be invoked, and/or the user may decide to share selected identity/contact information associated with the first SIM while withholding the rest from the device.

  • Patent number: 9742848
Abstract: A method to transmit paging messages to Machine Type Communication (MTC) devices in wireless communication is provided. The method includes establishing, by a first cluster head, a dedicated radio connection with at least one base station. The method also includes receiving a request from a plurality of MTC devices to transmit a signaling message. The signaling message includes a tracking area update (TAU) and paging information associated with the plurality of MTC devices. The method further includes storing information of the plurality of MTC devices associated with the first cluster head and base station corresponding to each of the MTC devices. The method includes fetching, by a Mobility Management Entity (MME), information of the base station associated with a serving MTC device based on receiving a data request from the at least one MTC device and transmitting the paging information to the base station associated with the serving MTC device.
