  • Publication number: 20210358044
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for evaluating and visually displaying the performance of individual components of a portfolio of assets. Information regarding a portfolio may be received and parsed into individual components. The performance of each component may be evaluated by way of performance metrics and compared against corresponding alternative parts. A visual display may be generated that charts the performance of each component against replicability by the corresponding alternative component. Within such a display, each component may be represented by a respective icon, and the size of the icon may correspond to relative size (proportion) of the represented component within the portfolio. Each icon may also have different colors (and saturation thereof) to indicate different information (e.g., degrees of replicability, differences in performance metrics) regarding the represented component.

  • Publication number: 20200410595
Abstract: Systems and methods for customizing a portfolio using visualization and control of factor exposures are disclosed. Assets are selected for inclusion in factor portfolios from a universe of assets based on risk premia factor scores. The factor portfolios can be combined into blended portfolios having varying degrees of factor exposures using simple visual controls for adjusting relative proportions of the factor portfolios. Any one of the individual factor portfolios and the resulting blended portfolio can be evaluated by comparing its performance against a benchmark portfolio or across a number of regimes representing various market or economic conditions or factor-specific regimes.

  • Publication number: 20200250760
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic asset allocation and visualization are provided. An outcome shaping engine may be executed to identify an asset allocation strategy that is specifically targeted towards achieving a defined goal. Such targeting may result in an asset allocation that has been selected to maximize the likelihood of reaching a specified financial goal (rather than generally maximizing return or a generally minimizing risk). In addition, a graphical representation may be generated to illustrate a plurality of possible outcomes associated with a set of asset allocation parameters.

  • Publication number: 20160343079
Abstract: The system uploads an existing portfolio and provides a synthesize process to determine how the existing portfolio fares against the factors disclosed above. The existing portfolio is scored and ranked, and factor results are provided. The user then inputs a target factor portfolio using the factors disclosed above. The existing portfolio is then compared against the target portfolio. The result is a completion portfolio to complement the existing portfolio and derive an overall exposure in line with investor objectives.

  • Patent number: 8041803
Abstract: A method and system for delivering digital files in a peer-to-peer network comprising a plurality of nodes including at least one server is disclosed. The network includes a plurality of files that are available for accessibility by the nodes in which respective fingerprints are computed for each of the files based on content of the files. The method and system include partitioning each of the files into a plurality of file chunks, and assigning an error detecting code to each of the chunks. The file is then transmitted to a first node from at least one other node by transmitting the chunks of the file to the first node. The method and system further include computing a new error detecting code upon receipt of each chunk by the first node, and comparing the new error detecting code to the assigned error detecting code to verify that each chunk has been transmitted correctly, whereby the entire contents of the file does not have to be received before the first node discovers that the file is corrupt.

  • Patent number: 7653552
Abstract: A method and system for providing a digital file marketplace is disclosed, where the digital marketplace includes a plurality of digital files for access by consumers over a network. The method and system include allowing a content owner to post a file on the marketplace for access by users by, providing information about the file, setting a retail price that users will be charged for downloading the file, and setting a reseller commission for the file. A first user may then search for files posted on the digital marketplace for one to resell on a third party website. A second user may further search the files posted on the digital marketplace for one to download. If the second user selects a particular file to download, then the user is charged the retail price set for the file. If the second user downloads the particular file from the third party website, then the first user is paid the reseller commission set for the file.

  • Patent number: 7469230
Abstract: A method and system for enabling electronic delivery of files is disclosed. The method and system include maintaining a data repository for storing information relating to the files available in the digital marketplace, wherein the information includes business rules associated with each file that define electronic transfer of the files during commercial transactions. In response to a first user requesting to resell a particular file and thereby becoming a reseller, the data repository is accessed to dynamically generate a reseller uniform resource locator (RURL) that uniquely identifies the reseller and the file. The RURL is then provided to the reseller for posting on a website in order to make the file commercially available to others on the website.
