  • Publication number: 20230325487
Abstract: The present invention relates to production of therapeutic potential WJ-MSCs for clinical purposes. The WJ-MSCs cultured in optimal culture conditions for production of clinical grade WJ-MSCs wherein 4 different culture media which are Media A, Media B, Media C and Media D used to produce 4 types of WJ-MSCs with different therapeutic potential. The WJ-MSCs harvested from Media A has therapeutic potential related to immune, wound healing and cell migration and the WJ-MSCs harvested from Media B has therapeutic potential related to localization, cell proliferation and cell migration. Meanwhile, the WJ-MSCs harvested from Media C has therapeutic potential related to organ development and osteogenesis and the WJ-MSCs harvested from Media D has therapeutic potential related to tissue development, cell signaling and localization.

  • Patent number: 10542743
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of isolating mesenchymal stem cells originated from Wharton's jelly (WJ-MSC) from single donor. The method for isolating and proliferating viable cells from Wharton's jelly wherein the method includes the steps of (a) obtaining umbilical cord tissue comprising of viable cells from Wharton's jelly, (b) isolating the viable cells in a sample collection media, (c) preparing a primary stock culture using the viable cells from step (b), (d) proliferating the primary stock culture from step (c) to obtain sub-cultured stocks, (e) harvesting the viable cells from the sub-cultured stocks from step (d) and (f) cryo-preserving the viable cells from step (e) under cryogenic conditions.

  • Patent number: 9839654
Abstract: A method for isolating and proliferating at least one type of precursor cell from dental origin from a single donor includes the following isolating the precursor cells from dental origin of a single donor in a sample collection media and preparing a primary stock culture. The primary stock culture is proliferated sequentially to obtain first, second and third sub-cultured stocks with cell counts ranging between 5×106 cells and 10×106 cells, 20×106 cells and 400×106 cells, 150×106 and 300×106 cells respectively. The precursor cells from the third subculture are harvested and cryo-preserved to obtain a precursor cell population for cell transplantation. The dental origin of the precursor cells is from pulp, apical papilla or periodontal ligament. The precursor cell originates from mesenchymal stem cells, ecto-mesenchymal cells, neural stem cells, dental progenitor cells or CD117+ cells.
